For facilities and maintenance
Before and after, on the record
PicAnchor is a camera app for maintenance and facilities teams. Photograph the fault before you start and the fix when you finish, and every shot carries the time and the engineer's name burned into the photo, and the address too when the phone is online.

What gets recorded
What the stamp records on a job
- 01
Before
A photo of the fault, with the time and date burned in.
- 02
After
A photo of the fix, taken the same way.
- 03
Where
The address on every shot taken online, so each job is identifiable from its photo.
- 04
Who
The engineer named on the stamp, and on a team the same format on every phone.
How it works
From the call-out to the report
- 01
Shoot the fault
Photograph it before you touch anything. The stamp is on the screen before you shoot.
- 02
Shoot the fix
Photograph the finished work the same way, and add a note such as "Pressure test and leak check".
- 03
Send the report
Tick both photos in the gallery and export a PDF. Photos in a report run oldest first, so the before comes before the after.
FAQ
Maintenance questions
How do I show before and after together?
Tick both photos in the gallery and choose Export PDF. The report lists photos oldest first, each with its time, who took it and a QR code, and its address when it was taken online.
Can each engineer be named on the photo?
Yes. The stamp can carry the engineer's name. On a team the admin adds each engineer by name and they join with a 6-digit code.
Can I record several sites in one day?
Yes. Each photo carries its own time, and its own address when it was taken online, so each job is identifiable from its photo.
Can I give the client a report?
Yes. Export a PDF from the gallery and share it from your phone. Each photo has its own QR code, so the client can check it.
Does the client need the app to check a photo?
No. They scan the QR code in the report, or enter the photo code at verify.picanchor.com (opens in a new tab), with no account.
Is it free?
On your own, yes: the camera, stamps and PDF reports are free, with no account needed. Team plans are bought inside the app.
