For incidents and damage
Record the scene before anything moves
PicAnchor is a free camera app that stamps the time onto a photo at the moment you take it, and the GPS location and street address too when the phone is online. After a collision or damage, take the photos first: the stamp records when, and where if you are online, and the photo gets a code anyone can check.

FAQ
Incident and damage questions
Do I need an account?
No. The camera works on your own with no account and no sign-in.
Is it free?
Yes. The camera, stamps and PDF reports are free for individuals.
Does a checked photo prove what happened?
No. A check shows that the photo file is unchanged since it was registered, and when. It does not show what happened or who was at fault. PicAnchor does not judge what a photo shows.
Can the other party check my photo?
Yes, with the photo's code at verify.picanchor.com (opens in a new tab). To compare the file itself they need the original, sent as a document or file attachment rather than as a photo, because chat apps recompress images.
Does it work without signal?
The camera works without signal. A photo taken offline carries the time but no GPS location or address, which need a connection. Photos are registered once the phone is back online.
Can I use it for company vehicles?
Yes. A team can use one stamp format on every phone, with each driver's name on their photos.
