These terms are the agreement between you and Baturlabs Ltd for using PicAnchor. They explain what each plan includes, how photos are stored and for how long, and the fair use that applies to team photos. Please read them with our Privacy policy.
1. Who we are
PicAnchor is provided by Baturlabs Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales, company no. 17294002 ("we", "us"). You can contact us at admin@baturlabs.com, or at hello@picanchor.com for questions about your plan.
These terms apply to the PicAnchor mobile app, the PicAnchor web dashboard at picanchor.app and the picanchor.com website (together, the "Service"). By using the Service you agree to them. If you use PicAnchor for a company, you agree for that company and confirm you may do so.
2. Admins, workers and accounts
A company is set up by an admin. The admin adds workers by name, and each worker joins with that name and a 6-digit code. The admin is responsible for who is added to the company, and for the photos and records the company keeps.
Keep your sign-in details and worker codes private. Tell us straight away if you think someone has used them without permission.
3. Plans, trials and billing
PicAnchor is free for individuals. The Pro and Pro+ Fleet plans are for teams and are bought inside the app, through the App Store or Google Play, monthly or yearly. The price for your country is shown in the app before you buy.
Payment is taken by Apple or Google, not by us, and their terms apply to it. A subscription renews automatically unless it is cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel it in your App Store or Google Play subscription settings. Pro and Pro+ start with a 2-week free trial, offered through the store and subject to its rules.
4. Storage, retention and deletion
Photos you take stay on your phone. Team photos (photos taken for a company) are also uploaded to the company's online storage, with these limits:
| Free | Pro | Pro+ | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Team photos stored online | Up to 100 | No set limit, fair use applies | No set limit, fair use applies |
| Team photos kept online | 30 days | 1 year | 1 year |
| Deleted team photos can be restored | For 30 days, on the web | For 30 days, on the web | For 30 days, on the web |
The time a team photo is kept online is counted from when it was taken, and is set by the plan the company is on when the photo is uploaded: 1 year on Pro and Pro+, 30 days on Free. When a photo reaches the end of that time, it is removed from online storage automatically. Copies on the phones are not affected.
If a plan ends, photos uploaded during the plan are still kept for 1 year. New photos follow the Free limits: up to 100 stored online, kept for 30 days. Only photos uploaded without a plan count toward the 100, so photos from the plan never use up that room. If you upgrade, your Free photos that are online are kept for 1 year too. Photos on the phones are not affected.
A deleted team photo goes to Recently Deleted on the web dashboard, where it can be restored for 30 days. After that it is removed permanently.
5. Fair use
Pro and Pro+ have no set limit on the number of team photos stored online. They are designed for the normal work of a field team, which we take to be up to 2,000 photos per worker per month, averaged across the company's workers.
- Team photos must be work photos taken with the PicAnchor camera.
- Do not upload photos with automated or scripted tools, and do not upload files that were not taken with the PicAnchor camera.
- If a company stays well above that level for a sustained period, we will contact the admin first. If it continues, we may then slow or pause new uploads for that company.
- Stored photos are never deleted because of fair use. Only the storage and retention rules in Section 4 remove photos.
6. Acceptable use
Use the Service lawfully and only for its purpose. Do not use it to photograph or record people or places where you have no right to, to harass anyone, or to break the law. Do not try to get around the Service's limits or security, copy or resell it, or interfere with it.
7. Your photos
Your photos are yours, and team photos belong to the company. You give us permission to store, process and show them only as needed to run the Service for you. How we handle personal data is set out in the Privacy policy.
8. What verification means
PicAnchor registers a fingerprint and a time for each photo, so anyone can check at verify.picanchor.com whether a file is the one that was registered and when. It shows that a file is unchanged since it was registered. It does not judge or confirm what a photo shows.
9. Availability and changes
We work to keep the Service running, but it may sometimes be unavailable, for example for maintenance. We may change the Service and these terms. If a change matters to you, we will tell you in the app, on the dashboard or by email before it takes effect.
10. Liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law. Apart from that, we are not responsible for indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability to a company in any 12 months is limited to what that company paid for the Service in that period.
11. Ending
You can stop using the Service at any time. An admin can delete the company's account in the app, or by emailing admin@baturlabs.com from the account's registered email address and asking us to delete it, as described on the account deletion page. Deleting the account removes the company's data as set out in the Privacy policy. We may suspend or end access if these terms are seriously broken, and we will tell the admin why.
12. Law and contact
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. For any question about them, write to admin@baturlabs.com.
